The GOTHARDS suite acquired its name in honour of the founder and Duke of Kurzeme – Gothards Ketlers – whose portrait is hung on the living room wall. The signature colour of this suite is juniper.
Jēkabs
The JĒKABS suite acquired its name in honour of the most famous Duke of Kurzeme – Jēkabs. He was born here, in Kuldīga, and was the sole reason for the flourishing of the dukedom and the culture within (you can view his portrait on the living room wall). The signature colour of this suite is tangerine, which symbolises joy and bliss.
Fridrihs
The FRIDRIHS suite acquired its name in honour of Duke Frīdrihs Ketlers – an ambitious and provident politician, who managed to uphold the independence of the dukedom in the most challenging of times (you can view his portrait on the living room wall). The signature colour of this suite is pearl grey, which symbolizes peace and stability.
Vilhelms
The VILHELMS suite acquired its name in honour of Duke Vilhelms – a creative and outstanding ruler of the dukedom (you can view his portrait on the living room wall). The signature colour of this suite is vermilion, which symbolizes creativity.
