Hotel gothards bookign rules:

Hotel Gothards is SIA Business Factory (registration number 40103163804, legal address: Daugavas 1, Jūrmala, LV-2008, phone number +37129129498) structural unit.
Booking of accommodation services:

Booking confirmation: Hotel Gothards room bookings are confirmed in writing, in the span of 24 hours, by sending an email to a customer’s chosen email address containing the confirmation and the booking receipt.

Payment rules: the bill for the accommodations should be settled before registering at the hotel or during the registration. The time and method of payment for the reservation is specified in the booking confirmation.

Payment method: bank transfer or credit card (VISA, Maestro, MasterCard).

Registering at the hotel: to register at the hotel, each legal adult staying at the accommodation should provide a valid passport or ID card and fill out a registration form.

Time of arrival: from 15:00 – 20:00.

Check-out time: until 12:00.
Early arrival or late departure is only possible with prior arrangement. For early arrival or late departure the hotel can issue a fine of 30 EUR. When checking out of the hotel, the guest must leave the apartment key with the staff or put the key in a designated box.

Parking: hotel guests have access to free parking in the hotel yard. Each apartment has a designated spot for 1 car. Additional parking is possible but not guaranteed.

Internet: all guests have access to free wireless internet on the hotel grounds.

Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside Hotel Gothards apartments (including electronic cigarettes and IQOS). Penalty for non-compliance with this rule is a 200EUR fine per person.

Pets: the hotel does not allow pets.

Laundry: the hotel offers laundry services. You can get accustomed to the pricelist at the reception.

Cancellation/No show: the booking can be cancelled 72 hours prior the date of your visit without any additional fees, by sending an email to gothards@gothards.lv. In case the booking is not cancelled 72 hours prior the arrival date, Hotel Gothards holds the right to charge a fine, for the sum of 1 previously booked night. In case of no-show (until 21:00 on the 1st day of the reservation), the reservation is cancelled, and the hotel deducts a penalty for the full amount of the reservation.

Personal data processing and video surveillance: SIA Business Factory as the owner of Hotel Gothards, in accordance with personal data protection requirements, has the right to process the following personal data:

  • Video surveillance recorded in the hotel territory. The footage is used for the prevention or detection of criminal offenses related to the Protection of the property of SIA Business Factory and hotel guests and the vital interests of individuals, including life and health protection.   • Personal data submitted in guest registration forms. The data is processed with the aim of ensuring hotel service, keeping hotel records, receiving payments from guests for the use of services, and the preparation of reports and statistics.
  • The client has the right to get acquainted with their personal data, as well as their rights with the hotel administration located in Jaunsaimnieku street 1C, Kuldīga, LV-3301 or by sending a request to info@gothards.lv.

Ensuring confidentiality: the hotel guarantees not to use the client’s personal data for any other purpose than only for the hotel’s records, reports, statistics, internal needs and not to pass them on to third parties. Guest agrees to receive information from the hotel about the hotel’s special offers and marketing activities.

Hotel Gothards administration does not take responsibility for guests’ personal belongings. It is free for guests to use individual safes (in rooms).

It is forbidden to burn candles in the rooms without prior agreement (as well as to leave burning candles unattended). It is forbidden to bring and store flammable objects and substances in the hotel.

It is forbidden to damage and move the inventory, furniture, and belongings of Hotel Gothards. It is also prohibited to move indoors furniture outside the room. In case of damage to the inventory, furniture or belongings, the hotel administration alone determines the amount of compensation. Damaged (i.e. scratched) appliances, furniture, household appliances or hotel inventory repair or cleaning services (wet beds, blankets, etc.) are determined after the actual repair and cleaning price list. The proof of damage is recorded by drawing up a deed, which is accompanied by photos showing the evidence of the damage.

Disturbing the peace of other guests with loud or inappropriate behavior is prohibited in the hotel. The hotel and its territory have special quiet hours from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

For security reasons, visitors are not allowed to stay in the hotel after 23:00. The guest have full responsibility for the actions of their visitors.

The administration of Hotel Gothards has the right to stop the provision of services and order to vacate the hotel premises and territory if the hotel guests do not follow the generally accepted norms of behavior, the instructions of the hotel administration or if their actions disturb the peace of other guests.

The hotel staff has the right to refuse to serve a customer who is under heavy influence of alcohol. In this case money for reserved and paid services is not returned.

The hotel administration holds the right to refuse services for non-compliance with the Internal Rules stated in this document without returning the money paid for the room and the security deposit.

The company does not take responsibility for damages, and losses, caused by accidents or other reasons. The company does not take responsibility for injuries caused by hotel guest’s negligence, lack of due care, or sloppiness as a result of non-compliance, incl. as a result of not following the instructions of the service personnel.
